So I was out the other day having a cuppa at at cafe after a swim, with my daughter and I thought....Yum... healthy drinks...but then i had a closer look... under the Anti-aging and weightloss smoothie was blueberries, orange, bananas and coconut water
this would equate to approx:
Blueberries x 10 - 2 x oranges 1 x banana and coconut water
The sugar content of this is in total is 3.5 + 18.4 +15.6 + coconut water. 2.6g
so in total that is 40.1grams of sugar which is 10 teaspoons.
I'd rather have a piece of cheesecake.
In general stay away from smoothies with lots of fruit...go for the celery, spinach - green ones basically with a touch of fruit if you like.
